Atelier 0.4 · Test package
Kinetic light for rooms that deserve a sky.
We build sculptures that breathe — smoked glass, raw brass, and living color that moves the way weather moves. Commissioned, never catalogued.
01 — Manifesto
Rooms should not be lit. They should weather.
Aether is a fictional lighting atelier built as a single-page showcase — a test of motion, type, and image for the DynaLake site package system. Every piece below is invented. The craft is not.
02 — Collection
Three families. Infinite rooms.
Hover a piece. It leans toward you. That is the whole brief.
01
Halo
A descending spiral of smoked-glass petals. Each edge catches teal and gold as the fixture turns — a chandelier that behaves like weather in a penthouse.
02
Tessera
A living wall of hexagonal panels. Color walks the surface the way aurora walks the pole — slow, exact, never the same twice.
03
Monolith
Black stone sentinels with a single vertical slit of light. For courtyards, reflecting pools, and the hour after the sun gives up.
03 — Process
Four movements.
-
01
Brief
We ask about the room the way a composer asks about a hall. Volume, dusk, who stands where.
-
02
Material
Smoked glass, raw brass, black granite. Samples on the table until the light agrees.
-
03
Atmosphere
Color is scored, not picked. We write a slow program: dawn, weather, midnight.
-
04
Install
Quiet crews. One night. The room is different in the morning and nobody can say why at first.
04 — Atelier
The shop is a darkroom for light.
Scale models, plotter drawings, and a single prototype always running in the corner. We do not ship a piece until it has lived a week in our own weather.
- Hand-formed glass
- Lost-wax brass
- Silent motors
- Tunable spectra
05 — Commission
Tell us about the room.
This is a demo form — it does not send. Watch the confirmation bloom anyway.
The brief is noted.
In a live commission this would reach the atelier. Here it is a flourish — the package is working.
